A Word from the Pastor
Our
congregation welcomes you to worship and invites you to become acquainted with
us.
God
has reached out to us and our world through his son, Jesus the Christ.
Through the church which Christ called into
being, God's love for us becomes a flesh and blood reality.
Our relationships with each other are the
primary way whereby we come to know and feel deeply God's care for us.
Through the fellowship of the church we get
a taste of the salvation that God offers us.Being a Christian is a matter of being an active member of the family of
faith, giving and receiving from our fellow church members, and reaching out to
those beyond our congregation.
If you are a person who has moved to our community and have no church home here,
you are welcome to unite with us. If
you are a person who has never had a church home (never professed your faith in
Christ), we invite you to profess your faith and unite with our fellowship.
If you are a person who has church roots but
have been inactive in your church, we invite you to renew your faith and join
us. Even if your circumstances don't
fit any of these categories, you are welcome here.
When the need arises, our Session (the governing body of our congregation) meets on Sunday mornings, 10:30 a.m., to receive new members. Let me know if you would like to discuss this matter.
I would be happy to spend time with you.
